This delighful pool is located in the Harewood Forest near the south coast of Western Australia. I was inspired by the patterns of the light on the water surface and throughout the scene. A tiny dragonfly hovers in our peripheral vision as they do.
Painted in an impressionist style using a brush. Artist quality oil paint on double thick stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the colour scheme of the subject.
