Two Willy Wagtails on Pink and White Flowers

Willy Wagtails are special birds, they are cheeky, mischievous and very cute and I just love painting them. This is a limited edition print, no more than 20 will be printed. The print is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. My first painting of Willy Wagtails was commissioned by someone who saw one of my paintings of blue wrens in an art gallery and asked me to create a similar painting with Willy Wagtails.  The painting had a special meaning for her. After losing a loved one a couple of Willy Wagtails started appearing in her window and she felt this was her partner saying he was still with her. I've since learned that other people believe this too and, for this reason, these have been my most successful paintings to date. I 'm sure you will love them too, to remind you of someone you have lost or just because you like birds.
