Tree Consciousness

Tree Consciousness explores the mysterious intelligence and interconnectdness of the natural world. A gathering of trees stand closely together, their indvidual forms merging into a larger collective presence. Their trunks and limbs reach up towards the sky as if they are holding it all up (which they are!). The rich autumnal canopy creates a sense of shared energy above the earth. 

The lower part of the painting suggests networks of exchange and mutual support that largely remain unseen to our human eyes. The painting asks us to consider trees not simply as part of the landscape, but as living beings with their own complex relationships and rhythms. Trees are conscious beings!
