Those Many Paths

Artist Statement: This work is a painting of the paths we take in life and the paths of memory that are handed down to us by those who went before us. The paths lap over each other, twist and turn but slowly take us to those we love and the places we belong. 

This is a once off original art work that won't be made available for production printing at any time.  No matter what any one tells you production printing reduces the value of the original artwork so I don't do it because it isn't fair to the buyer of the original work.

This work is  acrylic on 122 X123 on professional quality canvas, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity. The work is unstretched and sent in a roll (this is taken into account in the price)

This work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish which means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn't crack or yellow with age and light.

The work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). This is how I hang all large works in my home as I feel like without borders the paintings aren't contained and I can imagine them going beyond the end of the canvas.

If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture and home rather than the painting. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of white trim choose a white frame, if you would like to see the work with a frame just message me and I'll put imagee up.

Please make sure to measure your space. I try to make the images as accurate to size as possible but they  don't replicate measuring your own space. Its really  important to do this as artists pay for the  freight which isn't reimbursed if the painting is returned and freight has become very expensive even to send out rolls with cost of living and all so please make sure the painting will fit where you want to put it so you don't have to return it for this reason.
