The Teapot's Dream, A Colourful Still Life with Teapot and Cups

I love to paint a real still life, and make it surreal. 

The Teapot's Dream evokes a quiet gathering suspended somewhere between memory and imagination. A round turquoise teapot anchors the composition, leading an eclectic constellation of cups towards a bright future. The table glows with rich earth reds, while the soft blush toned background dissolves in a dreamlike haze, suggesting a space beyond the purely physical.
