The sea of hats

I painted this work as an exploration of being inside a crowd—where individual identity softens and a collective rhythm takes over. The repeated forms of hats became a visual language for movement, anonymity, and shared presence.

Working with loose, expressive brushstrokes and layered acrylic, I focused on light, color, and gesture rather than detail. For me, this painting is less about a specific place and more about the feeling of being part of something larger, where many figures merge into one living pattern.
