The Day I Met You Was Full Of Magenta and Sky Blue I

Artist Statement:  To create this work I first created an original watercolor on paper. I then printed it onto Gallery Illford Paper and I painted on it again. So each work in this series has a link to the original painted and printed work but is individual because I have painted over and rendered each work again. 

This work is a once off original art work that  will not be available at any time for reproduction printing. I do not make my work available for reproduction prints as reproduction prints have no value and decrease the value of the original work which is not fair to the original buyer. 

Works on paper are an excellent way to collect art that will grow in value but are not quite as expensive as works on canvas (unless or course they were done by Leonardo or Michelangelo).

This artwork is 30cm X 30cm, the paper is 321 X 32cm  from edge to edge to allow 2cm for framing. The work will be signed on the front with initials and date and sent with a certificate of authenticity. It is sent unframed in a roll or flat and will need to be framed  to hang.  I highly recommend getting a nice inexpensive  frame from a department store, a 40cm square frame will allow for mounting board as in the pictures, a 30cm square frame will frame the work up to the art.  I have included images with the work framed.

The work will be sent via Australia Post, wrapped in glassine paper  in a sturdy tube or flat. packed between heavy cardboard.
