This piece represents the sky in the desert just outside Broken Hill in NSW. At the bottom and along the underside, the ranges just outside the town of Silverton are represented. The painted image does extend on all sides visible.
The sky there is just so vast and stunning to see.
Its a contemplative piece and would make the blandest room just pop. I imagined it in a study, a child's room or in a bedroom.
It does weigh more than a single canvas given its joined by metal connectors so it functions, essentially, as one solid piece.
Its unique and most likely will continue to be so given most of the canvas sizes I used are no longer made.
