Seagull's Vigil

I’m excited to share my newest painting, "Seagull’s Vigil on the Painted Bow." This work captures a quiet moment by the sea—a small boat resting on a pebble beach, a seagull standing watch over the calm waters. There’s a stillness here that invites reflection, a reminder of the simple, steady presence we can find even amid change. Painting this piece in oil on canvas allowed me to explore the delicate balance of natural light and colour, highlighting the subtle textures of the boat, rope, and sea.
