Seafarers Bridge 2 is a painting of my favourite Melbourne bridge which straddles the Yarra River, linking Southbank with Docklands. It is an alternative viewpoint from my earlier version, 'Seafarers Bridge' and provides another dynamic composition. Here, the viewpoint is that of a pedestrian on the bridge looking upward. The warmer, earthier browns and greens in the background provide a striking contrast with the cool greys and whites in the foreground.
