Run Cathy Run

Artist Statement: This work is about Cathy from Wuthering Heights and inspired by the Kate Bush song and the book - not the film - the book isnt just a romance, its a dark story of betrayal, obsession and revenge.

I created this artwork using pencil, crayon, water colour, gouache and pastel.  I then have the artwork printed on professional archival cotton paper, once that is done I work further on the piece  to create the  final work, it is then printed  once more and will be a very limited print run of 25 prints .  The artist proof is retained by the artist until the print run is completed.

The work is sent unframed, images with frames are to give you an idea of what it looks like framed.

It is printed on 100%  Ilford Gallery  Archival Silk Paper which means the print will not fade or deteriorate.

The art work  measures 40  X  40cm with a 2.5cm border to allow for framing, the work is signed and numbered on the border and the back. The work will easily fit into pre-made frames available at department stores.
