Quiet Ground is an abstract landscape inspired by the quiet beauty of open spaces. Built through layered textures and intuitive marks that fold into each other, my aim was to capture a visual journey of the landscape and to connect with the elements of the land. I blended a rustic earthy colour palette and mixed it with cool blues including cobalt blue and created a softented sky gently dapled with delicate floaty clouds.
