My latest drawing is of an emu standing tall, staring straight ahead with a calm yet intense expression, its long neck stretched upward and its sharp eyes gazing directly at the viewer. Behind the emu, I've incorporated a vibrant Cubist background bursting with intersecting geometric shapes with all the gorgeous colours used to create him. The contrast between the emu’s natural form and the fragmented geometric surroundings gives the artwork a striking, modern feel, blending the beauty of our native wildlife with the expressive creativity of Cubism.
Drawn on 100% acid free and archival Grafis drafting film with professional coloured pencils, All materials will last a lifetime if framed behind uv glass.
