Mente Desconcertada numero tres (Mind Boggled)
This series have been created during my time living in Granada, Spain. Each work begins with a self-portrait traced while feeling my own face with my eyes closed, transforming touch into a way of seeing. Inspired by the city's rich history, colour, music, and movement, while remaining aware of the uncertainties unfolding around the world, the paintings combine fragmented forms and layered imagery to reflect a mind processing multiple realities at once. The series explores perception, identity, and the ways our inner worlds are shaped by both personal experience and the wider world.
This third one in the Mente Desconcertada series explores the shifting relationship between emotion and perception through a dense interplay of symbols, colour, and movement. The layered composition suggests a mind searching for clarity while embracing the complexity of lived experience in this moment in time.
