Magical Kookaburra

A black cockatoo emerges from a field of shimmering gold - its feathers rendered not in solid strokes, but in thousands of layered drips, splatters, and flecks of indigo, crimson, and pale blue.

Look closely and the texture takes over; step back and the bird returns, watchful, its beak catching the light against the metallic warmth behind it.

This piece is part of my ongoing exploration of Australian wildlife through mixed-media layering -where texture, movement, and colour do the work a single brushstroke never could.

It comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity. It is ready to hang, framed in a good quality elegant Black box frame. Happy to share more photos or videos of this painting.

This painting can be done in any other colour or size as per your requirements. However no two paintings will ever be the same, this technique of drips can't ever be replicated, not even by me.
