Field Of Joy

Field Of Joy is an energetic abstract interpretation of wild grasses and flowers, alive with colour, movement and texture. Bold vertical brushstrokes rise through layers of deep forest greens, while soft pinks, fresh greens, warm yellows and flashes of orange emerge like wildflowers reaching towards the light.

Loose drips and spontaneous marks run through the composition, giving the painting a wonderfully organic quality and allowing the colours to mingle without becoming overly controlled. The darker lower section provides depth and grounding, while the increasingly light and vibrant colours above create the feeling of a field opening into sunlight.
