This piece was all about richness and density - finding balance between deep rich tones and the most delicate of almost-white peach; strong lines against a tangle of soft, organic textures.
Part of my Sapling Forest series which explores the idea of beauty, gentleness and stability can exist amid the chaotic tangle of our lives.
This is an original oil painting on an FSC wood panel with 2cm deep edges. The edges are painted an off-white for a finished look, unframed.
