This painting was inspired by a journey to the Central Coast, where yachts rested quietly in a tranquil harbour, surrounded by golden sands, azure water and distant mountains. I was drawn to the harmony between the calm rhythm of the water and the enduring presence of the landscape. Through bold, spontaneous and expressive brushstrokes, I sought to simplify the scene while capturing its atmosphere and light.
