How can I not paint these beautiful Banksia flowers. They grow madly in my garden and flower most of the year. I ignored them for a long time, but realised how beautiful the many stages of flowering is. They are unique to the south west corner of Western Australia and their name has recently changed to Banksia.
I prefer the name the local indigenous use; Boojak or Boojan.
