This artwork was painted on an acrylic pallet on a stretched canvas of 40cmx 30cm with a depth of 1.5cm  on a acrylic canvas and a protective coat of (gloss) varnish has been applied to seal the acrylic paints and ensure the work stays looking its best for a life time

 Recognisable by their sky - blue coloured caps, which become iridescent during breeding season, the suburb fairy wren is much loved amongst Australians . I totally agree with that , they are so cute and tiny . Blue wrens also Australian birds also known as fairy wrens , are typical celebrated for their vibrant appearance. The background features a textured effect, achieved using a modeling compound mixed with brown paint. This technique adds depth and tactile interest, creating a captivating contrast with the smooth surface of the log on which the bird is perched. The carefully chosen browns and ochre tones complement the blue plumage, enhancing the overall visual harmony
