With Every Breath

"With every breath, there's release. A letting go of what has been held for too long; pain, frustration, confusion, anger, grief...whatever it is that we're holding onto so tightly.

Like the breeze across the coastline, each breath carries away what no longer needs to be held. Clarity can come not through direction, but through acknowledgement and acceptance. It's a quiet trust that moving forward is still possible, even without clear direction or answers. 

This new atmospheric coastscape invites this reflection. Though what's ahead may still be blurred and uncertain, we can pause here and rest. Rest in the in-between moments where hope lives in the inhale and exhale...and where with every breath we find a bit more courage, a bit more strength, and renewed hope for the way ahead." 

Created with palette knives on 360 gsm stretched polycotton, framed in solid Oak timber, and satin varnished. This artwork comes with a COA with the above artist statement written on the back.
