Breathing Space

"There are moments when the world feels like it's closing in - the noise too loud, the weight too heavy, the burden too great.

Inspired by fresh sea breezes and the steady rhythm of waves that find shoreline in refuge, 'Breathing Space' is an invitation to retreat and pause, and do as it's title suggests...breathe.

To breathe deeper, linger longer, exhale louder.

To feel the weight lift, the tensions ease, the body relax, and the mind settle.

To reflect and ponder, to find clarity, and be encouraged.

To seek light, choose joy, to feel hope.

We all need breathing space. When you can't get to the coast to find it in reality, I hope this breezy blue painting will draw you in to pause a while - giving you the space needed - to inhale, exhale...to just breathe."

Created with palette knives on 360 gsm stretched polycotton, it is framed in solid Oak timber, and satin varnished. It comes with a COA with the above artist statement written on the back.
