I was in the building that day. This is an original, hand printed, linocut on Canson paper. This print is not limited edition, rather is made in the Japanese woodcut tradition whereby prints were made as required for as long as the block lasted. This tradition began around the 16th century and continues today. The Prussian blue colour has been preferred by these artists soon after it was first produced in 1704. this print fits a standard A3 frame.
