Are all works original?
Yes. All artworks listed on our site are created by Australian artists and are either original works or limited editions (clearly marked as such).
Can I commission a custom artwork?
Absolutely! Many of our artists accept commissions. Reach out to us via email (info@theonlineartgallery.com.au), and we’ll help facilitate a discussion.
Do artworks come ready to hang?
Most paintings and framed works are ready to hang unless stated otherwise. Check the artwork description for details on framing or canvas stretching.
How do I purchase an artwork?
Simply click “Buy Now” and follow the checkout process. If you would prefer to transfer funds directly into our bank account, please contact us via email (info@theonlineartgallery.com.au).
Can I reserve an artwork?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re seriously considering a piece, contact us and we may be able to hold it for 24 hours.
Is postage/shipping really free?
Yes! We offer FREE standard shipping Australia-wide on all artworks. Contact us for international shipping fees.
How long will my artwork take to arrive?
Within Australia, delivery usually takes 5–8 business days. International delivery times vary depending on location. The artist will contact you directly with tracking details.
Will my artwork be insured during shipping?
Yes. All artworks are shipped by the artist with insurance and tracking for your peace of mind.
What if I change my mind after receiving my artwork?
We offer a 7 Day Money-Back Guarantee. If your artwork isn’t quite right for your space, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. Contact us to arrange free return shipping within Australia.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange a full refund or replacement and talk you through the return shipping. Please ensure you photograph the original damaged packaging.
Can I buy from outside Australia?
Yes. Artists ship internationally! Customs duties and taxes may apply depending on your country and are the buyer’s responsibility. Please contact us via email (info@theonlineartgallery.com.au) for shipping details.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your artwork ships, the artist will send you tracking details.
How do I know the artwork is authentic?
All artworks come directly from the artists. Many artists also provide a certificate of authenticity upon request.
How does my purchase support artists?
We charge a low commission to keep more money in the hands of artists. Your purchase helps independent creators continue their practice.
