Blooming Beautiful
This art work is certified as being recorded in the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists National Registration No: 000-43662-0171-01. The influence for this piece started with my love for flowers...pansies in particular. I have been recently thinking about my Grandmother and wanted to mold and blend her admiration for pretty patterns and fabrics into something botanical - showcasing the beauty in nature, the fragility, the repetition; but doing so with a modern, contemporary twist. I really enjoyed reminiscing with this piece and hope it carries you to those wonderful memories of people and times long past.
