Hello, I'm Steve Tyack.

Painter​,​ maker and collector of moments. I love to create because it’s what moves me. Abstract art on any surface is how I connect. Ideas come and go and never in a controlled​,​ logical order. Colours and shapes show me the way and I paint to connect through memories​,​ feelings and sparks of something lived or imagined. Mine are mostly abstract​,​ and through it​,​ I recall life in textures and layers. If someone connects with a piece​,​ that’s the magic. From my studio at home​,​ I conjure thoughts that drift by and settle. There’s always something waiting just under the surface—a flicker​,​ an image​,​ a dream. The invitation is open for others to be drawn into the connection.
