Hello, I'm Ian Burgess Art.

I am an artist who is happily self taught because it allows me to paint the way I want without inheriting someone else’s style. My paintings are always colourful with both my abstract and semi abstract work as I am constantly striving for luminance on the canvas and am primarily interested in colour and value relationships and how they work together with shapes and textures resulting in a feast for the senses. I paint from the heart and invite my audience to feel the joy of colour.
