It helps me imagine what life might have been like in that time as I delve into history.

I have painted a view of a side gate in the morning light. I was particularly enchanted by the terracotta pots and the flowers in the sunlight. I particularly loved how the purple flowers in the nearer pot almost glowed in the light. My viewpoint is from just under a large tree on the edge of the property and I liked the effect of almost looking through the leaves from shade to bright sunlight.

The artwork is signed on the bottom right and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

An original artwork painted in oil and acrylics on board

Size: 23 x12.7 cm and is sold unframed (not ready to hang)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0679/2078/9615/files/69164a62e1b8ea140711df10_slice1_1790842198575.jpg?v=1790842710
